On the occasion of International Human Rights Day, Social Umbrella Foundation, New Delhi had organised a social gathering with the vision of the upliftment and social welfare of the marginalised children of the society.
Who have taken shelter under Bal Sahyog’, Connaught Place, New, Delhi, which is an Organisation founded in the year 1954 by the then Prime Minister of India and the Prime Minister of India is the official chairperson of this Organisation. The Founder Director of Social Umbrella Foundation Mrs Bhavna Bajaj (Advocate)
had invited the several Dignitaries from the various strata of the life, including
the Social, Reformers and the Legal Luminaries. The event was very successful, and the drawing competition was conducted by the Organisation for the children, who had shown the enthusiasm for the learning and moving ahead in the life. Miss Shweta Sharma(Para Athlete), who has won the gold medal for the country in the Para Olympic was also the Chief Guest of the function and she had discussion with the participants of the competition and the awards were given to the successful participants of the drawing competition. The management of the Bal Sahyog had also shown their thankfulness for organising the event at their centre and showed kindness for inviting the Social Organisations and the individuals to the society at their centre for conducting similar kind of activities for the betterment of the children. This event was meant for the children at the Centre and the large number of participation by the children speak volumes about its success.
